I haven’t been able to find a good remix of “A Milli” since Excision and Datsik flipped it into a legendary classic back in 2010, and I’m willing to bet I’m not alone. Well you can rest easier now fellow bassheads, for there is another. The trio of San Francisco natives, known as K Theory really hit it out of the park with this remix.
The track starts off with a combination of some seriously heavy and incredibly smooth percussion and sub bass that rides perfectly with Weezy‘s first verse and helps build the energy for the second half of the tune. That’s when things get really wild.
K Theory’s own Malcolm Anthony takes over the second verse, spitting white hot flames onto the track while the impossibly smooth the sub kicks holes into your speaker before a suprise synth drop almost takes your head off.
