Ready for three courses of Spag Heddy with a little bit of EH!DE on the side? Because I am. Served up by Play Me Records, Spag Heddy’s Pastanistan Express EP is here with a whole lot of bass for your ears to consume. The Dutch music master dished out a solo original, an original collaboration with EH!DE, as well as a VIP mix in this project that dropped on December 22nd.
Spag Heddy begins the entire project with some dembow, so things are already going in the right direction for the title track. I do wish it went into some crazy heavy zouk bass, but the dank dubstep treat he delivers doesn’t have me complaining one bit. Neither does “Better” with EH!DE; that is another behemoth that would melt a crowd in seconds. As good as those two songs are though, I think my favorite has to be the VIP of “Pink Koeks.” I was surprised to hear a four to the floor banger, but I am oh so glad the Pastanistan Express took us to one. This song is basically Spag Heddy taking a fat, grimy dookie on the big room genre. It’s priceless. You will have to pay for it though, but the EP is 100% worth it.
