Futurebound’s Viper Recordings, who have released tracks from various heavyweights in the drum & bass scene, including double number one reaching Sigma, are ten years old this year. Such a milestone and anniversary in the life of a record label can only be celebrated one way: by releasing an insanely hench compilation full of new and exclusive cuts from all who represent the Viper Recordings sound.
The bossman himself kicks off proceedings, teaming up with Stateside producer Gridlok on ‘Go Free’. The Prototypes deliver the slamming ‘Moscow’, while BMotion & Chords bring the funk on their collab ‘Discotheque’. Elsewhere, recent Viper signee Cyantific adds ‘Bring You Love’ and Six Blade & Insomniax contribute the rampant ‘Contact’.
Overall, it is a solid collection of tunes on a ‘Decade of Viper’. We would have liked a new contribution from the Brookes Brothers on there, but that aside, a fair few bits worth checking. You can pick it up here.
