Above & Beyond Preview New Album

I’m not the biggest fan of trance. That’s not to say I have anything against the genre, it’s just never been my most knowledgable subject. That being said, Above & Beyond are a trio that have touched my heart countless times and are by far one of the most emotion-inducing artists in electronic music. The advanced preview for their upcoming album We Are All We Need proves that. Fans will know many of these tracks, as Above & Beyond have spent the last year introducing us to “Sticky Fingers,” “Blue Sky Action,” and most recently “Fly Me to New York” from their ABGT 100 after movie, which was released last week. Vocalists Alex Vargas and Zoe Johnston are heavily present on the album, each appearing on six of the 16-track album previews. It also reveals a studio version of “Making Plans,” sang by Vargas, which was originally recorded by Tony McGuinness for the Above & Beyond Acoustic album last year. This long-awaited album isn’t out for another month, but is already making a strong case for being one of the best albums of 2015.

We Are All We Need is currently available for pre-order on iTunes with immediate downloads for three of the album’s tracks, or you can preorder the deluxe boxed set through Above & Beyond’s website.
