If you love Diplo, then you’re going to love all the exciting projects coming up next year. After popping over to India for a string of shows after Stereosonic, Diplo has promised more music next year: more tracks, more albums, more everything.
Major Lazer, his project with Jillionaire and Walshy Fire, are currently working on two, eight-track albums for 2015, one in February and the second in September. The first album has already been completed and will come with a music video currently being shot overseas. In a recent interview with India’s Radio and Music, Diplo promised he will also continue collaborating with Skrillex, who together have enjoyed a monster amount of attention this year as the supergroup Jack U. “We have been working together for a while now. We have been working on many tacks, so you will see us collaborate on more projects. Our collaborative tracks will be released next year.” Jack U will be closing out 2014 at the iconic Madison Square Garden, but in case you can’t make it, check out their Diplo & Friends Mix from last month.
