Twine… remixing The Brig… I’ll give you a moment to catch your breath.
The intro synths are oddly reminiscent of Alice Deejay’s “Better Off Alone,” but after that it’s dubstep as usual for the Florida native. The original is an almost glitchy dubstep interpretation that clips and skitters around, all while following a nasty bassline that keeps everything on track. Twine evens out the tempo and drops an even heavier dose of bass, feeling like you’re getting physically assaulted in the face. It’s unapologetic and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Heavy bass chops and a healthy dose of melody make this a multi-faceted production worthy of any basshead’s library.
This remix will be officially released on Dec 17th on Most Addictive Records, as part of the Black Pearl Remixes EP.
