You might know Didrick from this beautiful cover of Porter Robinson’s “Sad Machine” with Ember Island, which has been slowly making its way around the internet over the past week. Though the cover is incredibly somber, Didrick’s music is actually very upbeat, like his debut track “A Part of You.” Recently, he tried his hand at remixing Cazzette’s “Blind Heart.” If you enjoy Madeon, you’ll definitely want to take a listen. He enhances the track using 8-bit styled synths, but keeps Cazzette’s incredibly soulful melody and choppy vocals. This remix is considerably more uptempo than the original, giving it more danceability than it’s housier predecessor.
Didrick’s Remix of Cazzette’s “Blind Heart” will be released December 9 via ICONS Music.
