It’s always good to get some disco in on Monday. Los Angeles duo ROOM8 come through on the delivery of some old school vibes with their remix of “Miracle” by Kimbra. Even better, they released the remix for free. I really enjoy remixes like this where they let the original breathe by extensively using the vocals, instead of simply utilizing them in the breakdowns/builds and focusing on big drops. Those are nice, don’t get me wrong, but ROOM8‘s approach to tackling the original was spot on. The result is a fascinating five in a half minute hit. From the beginning fill to the end your ears will be thanking you, and chances are your body will be in motion during that time.
