Everyone’s favorite mau5head returns with a throwback album release and much more! “5 years of mau5” is a bipartite collection of Joel Zimmerman’s musical highlights from his Deadmau5 project, along with an array of remixes of his original work.

The first 10 songs are a blast from the past, and it is not even Thursday yet! Fans will be able to enjoy epic tracks like “Ghosts ‘n’ Stuff,” “Some Chords,” and of course, the legendary “Strobe.”

The second part of the album features 12 remixes of his tracks from familiar artists such as Dillon Francis, Chuckie, Madeon, Shiba San, Nero and many more. The album got released just in time for the holidays, and would be an ideal jam for everyone’s Black Wednesday celebrations.

From taking a quick listen to the album on iTunes, I can definitely tell you that the Dillon Francis remix of “Some Chords” will be on repeat for many of you! However, if you are looking to listen to something more deep and progressive, “The Veldt” edit from Eric Prydz will get you grooving in seconds.

Released on Monday. November 24 from mau5trap recordings, the album is available on iTunes, Spotify, and Beatport.

I think this is the perfect thanksgiving gift from Deadmau5, and it would be really cool if he did a coffee run about it.

This is the tracklist from Beatport, enjoy!
