Watch Science Merge with Music For Some Killer Visuals

cymaticsIf Nigel Stanford is not someone you’re familiar with, it’s time for that to change. Stanford is a unique artist who is most known for his work on scores. He has chosen to visually represent his music in all kinds of creative ways, but his most recent project combines knowledge of science, and with the help of director Shahir Duad, he has taken visualizers to the next level.

In a music video entitled “Cymatics: Science Vs. Music,” Stanford shows how different tones and frequencies display natural patterns when expressed through a variety of mediums, such as fire, sand, water, and electricity. Take a look at the video below, and prepare to be mesmerized.
