Skrillex and Diplo have each made a monstrous impression on the electronic music scene as solo producers. It comes as no surprise that Jack Ü, their collaboration project, is capable of bringing quality original work to the table. Earlier this year, Jack Ü released their first single, titled “Take Ü There” and featuring beautiful vocals from Kiesza, just in time for festival season. There is no denying that the original trap version is impressive, though 4 extremely diverse remixes of the track have now been leaked that are worth a listen.
Vindata, Felix Cartal, TJR, and Modern Machines each give the track a drastically different flavor. Vindata’s remix is largely diverse in itself, and provides a chill, reggae sounding beat and pleasing vocal edits. The remix from Modern Machines is refreshingly euphoric melodic house. TJR of course brings his bouncy Melbourne sound to the track, and Felix Cartal delivers a dynamic progressive house take that begs to be heard from festival speakers. Collectively, these remixes are a grab bag of awesome that touches multiple ends of the spectrum – it would be hard for anyone to not enjoy at least one.
