Mark my words: Jason Ross is one to watch in 2015. Though many believe the Los Angeles native first made waves with his remix of Parker and Hanson’s “Gravity” back in September, Anjunabeats has had their eye on Ross for almost a year, playing his track “Burma” on Above and Beyond’s Group Therapy radio show multiple times. This year, Jason Ross teamed up with Steve Brian for “Good Love” which was released on Enhanced Recordings, but now it seems he’ll be planting his roots firmly with the Anjuna family.
While his remix of “Gravity” took Parker and Hanson’s melancholy track and flipped it on its head, “Elements” starts on 10 with beautiful vocals and a powerful drop that doesn’t overwhelm the listener. Ross’ solo debut is a perfect fit into Anjunabeats’ catalogue, as the track falls right in line with Genix’s “Run” and Soundprank’s “Gemini,” both released earlier this year. The record truly gained momentum as Above & Beyond included “Elements” in their massive 2-hour ABGT 100 set just last month. With a supporting cast as large and legendary as the Anjunabeats roster, one can only predict more great tracks and incredible growth for Jason Ross in the 12 months.
“Elements” is available exclusively on Beatport today, and also comes with an official remix from fellow Anjunabeats artist Sunny Lax.
