Hook N Sling – Momentum [Doorn Records]

This week has served the public a variety of entrées in terms of new music. One of the brightest and most luminous of these tunes comes from Australian producer Hook N Sling and is out now via Doorn Records. His new song titled “Momentum” is a burst of bubbly, grungy electro house with a sprinkle of deep bass before the drops. The breakdown and second build create a whole new reason to love this song (even though you’ll already love it from the get go). But the real power of this song is the instant plucks and booming bass line that will leave listeners bouncing around all day.It reminds me of 2011-2012 electro house before big room came in and drastically changed the standards for many of today’s releases.
