Just a few nights back, Kill the Noise made a triumphant return to his hometown of Rochester, NY to play one massive show for his Majestic As F*** Tour. Joined by two extremely talented acts, Two Fresh & Botnek, this tour proved to be true to its name, electrifying the entire city from the moment it began.
The minute we walked in the basement of Rochester’s Main Street Armory, we knew we were in for a treat. Two Fresh was killing it with trapped out, futuristic-styled beats that had the crowd swaying. The room started to fill more and more as Botnek took stage and dominated it for the entire hour and a half. I’ve been to lots of shows but never witnessed such an exhilarating set as theirs. They brought everything from trap, dubstep, as well as their signature grungy electro house that had the crowd in sheer pandemonium.
I remember vividly when they dropped their remix of #SELFIE because a portion the crowd who had never heard the track before were simply melted. The entire place roared as each drop in the track erupted from the speakers. Botnek are one of the most exciting acts hands down and I know I speak for that whole venue when I say we hope he comes back soon!
To conclude the night, the man, myth, and the legend, Kill The Noise, made his way to the decks to play an absolutely massive set for his hometown of Rochester. Rocking the Bixel Boy’s & Youth Machine FREELIFE tee, along with his usual fitted hat, Kill The Noise took the crowd by storm playing the Milo & Otis Remix to Skrillex’s smash, “Recess”. As promised, he brought lots of new material and even played some favorites like his new collaboration with Feed Me, “Far Away”, and a thunderous mashup of his track with Skrillex, “Right On Time”, vs. the “Fresh Prince” theme song.
What stuck out to me most was his love for all of us in Rochester. He kept in constant communication with the crowd, explaining how happy he was to be with us and giving quick backstories to certain tracks. This conversational element was fun for the entire crowd to feel connected to the show and to Kill The Noise himself.
Overall, the Majestic As F*** show was entirely incredible and created an unforgettable night in Rochester, NY. This is not something you want to miss out on, so check the dates below and grab a ticket in a city near you!
