Getting to play your first big show is an emotional time. One day, you’re at a local club playing the opening set to a crowd of maybe 50. Soon after, you’re in a stadium playing to 5,000.
When we think of Tiesto these days, we usually leave the “DJ” off. He used to be one of the biggest trance producers in the world, but even before that, Tiesto too had his first “big show.” For this Throwback Thursday we get an intimate look at DJ Tiesto as he walks off stage, vinyls in hand, and begins to cry into his brother’s shoulder. Truly a touching moment.
