Two things are for sure: “Round Two” is amazing, and it totally should have been released in the summer. Royal, a name you should be familiar with by now, teamed up with Desktop. for this original that just may be Royal’s best work yet. For me, it’s not hard to imagine hearing this on the radio and MTV when they actually play music, and I mean that in the best way possible. The instrumental alone is dope as hell, but with Desktop.’s added vocal fire, the final product is something fresh and clean. Rap is the first genre I really dove headfirst into, so I’ll always have a soft spot for it, and to have it crossing over into the EDM world is something that excites me. I’m sure it will do the same for you. Before you have a listen, know that this one comes as a free download.
When the song started I thought I would hate this track, but before it was half over I was bobbing my head. It’s a nice crossover (as Tyler Trew) stated above. It something fresh and original (if only by combining two existing genres) It’s a fun fresh track worth listening to. My only criticism is that it is too short.
