Zeds Dead is better than they’ve ever been

and they’re coming to Columbus this Friday

Canadian duo Zeds Dead are coming to the Columbus Convention Center “ready to f*ckin party” they told UWeekly in an exclusive interview. The night of October 31st will give rise to an awesome array of dance music perfectly tailored for the Midwest’s holiday celebrations. Prime Social Group’s top tier line up for Haunted Fest 2014 consisting of Zeds Dead, A-Trak, Arty and Audien will bring you the soundtrack to a perfect Halloween. Big bad wolves, scary monsters and nice sprites–they’ll have everything to start your spooky night off right.

Zach Rapp-Rovan (Hooks) and Dylan Mamid (DC) better known as Zeds Dead are no strangers to the spotlight. They have been dominating dance floors all over the globe for years and they are better than they’ve ever been right now. If you haven’t had the chance to catch them this summer, or even if you have, do not miss this Halloween performance. Their most recent iHome x Mad Decent Block Party Mix on SoundCloud is a great representation of how they’ve been captivating crowds at music festivals all summer long. Showcasing their most recent Somewhere Else EP and peppering in hot drum ‘n bass and plenty of womp, Zeds Dead proves they’re not only amazing producers but also excellent DJs who know what you want to hear.

Fellow Canadian on the bill and master turntablist A-Trak is an unmissable delight on this line up. He is always an excellent performer whose showmanship never disappoints. Amazing song selection and skills for days, he is the definition of a true DJ. He also produces some of your favorite festival bangers with the most notable artists in the game today. His work with the Low Pros is my personal favorite alter ego of A-Trak. Check out this video of him becoming the DMC World Turntable Champion in 1997 at the young age of 15 to excite you for Friday’s performance:

Russia’s Artem Stoliarov a.k.a Arty has been shown support by Armin Van Buuren’s A State Of Trance and Above & Beyond’s label Ajunabeats. Arty is to trance lovers what Zeds Dead is to bass lovers: pure perfection.

The line up does not stop there. Young Audien, discovered by Ferry Corsten’s Flashover Recordings, will start the night off with driving progressive house and hard electro that will have you dancing from the moment you enter the building.

This is a celebration you don’t want to miss! Come see Zed’s Dead at the height of their game with some of the best supporting acts you will find anywhere in the country this Halloween!
