Doorly is back with his first EP series entitled ‘Doorly & Friends 01’, and yet, it’s another heavy-hitter off of Toolroom Records, which features collaborations with Todd Terry and DJ Pierre. Doorly brings back the funk, the soul, and the core of House Music with “On A Mission” and “Gotta Get”.
“On A Mission” (Doorly Re-Chunk), featuring Todd Terry starts off with a great, tech house kick and a funky beat. They showcase such a groovy track, as they deliver many sporadic elements that will keep you dancing till the end. Second track, “Gotta Get” featuring DJ Pierre, delivers a thick tune, with a solid drum kick that flows your senses through static and electric synths, and moody vocals that snare right into the beat.
