Nicky Romero wraps up 2021 with another enthralling release from his Monocule alias, “Your Eyes.” Tapping into that deep, but melodic soundscape that Monocule has perfected, “Your Eyes” is a catchy track that will have you dancing away, whether on the dance floor in the club or in your room.
This is also a highly inspirational track. Nick (Monocule) teams up with LAMAS (BR) on this one. You probably don’t recognize that name, this is only his second release ever. But, Nick discovered LAMAS (BR) after he sent a demo directly to the demo:drop Twitch session inbox. Yup, he slid into Nicky’s DMs and now he has a release on Protocol. Shoot your shot ladies and gentlemen!
The track opens up with those brilliant underground synths, an eerie vocal, and a pulsating bassline. As the track progresses there’s some nice little synth accents around the main bassline, I guess this is the melodic part of the track. There’s a short synth breakdown, before the track just gets nasty. Bigger buildup, bigger drop!
