Nostalgix, our favorite 90s it girl keeps the heat coming with “Friends” featuring Amy Miyú.
The bold and spirited “Friends” production hits even harder than much of Nostalgix’s already impressive catalogue. Amy Miyú serves up sassy and abrasive vocals, backed by a “Girl Power” mentality and hyped up Nostalgix signature sounds.
Not only is the song a banger, it perfectly fits Nostalgix’s overall project aesthetic — girly but sporty, sparkly and grainy, fun and empowering. Also, demonstrated here by the “Friends” artwork, which is inspired by the hottest Y2K toy, Bratz Dolls.
Nostalgix has a bright summer ahead as the Vancouver artist is set to play her first run of US festivals, with her debut taking place at HARD Summer this weekend. Followed up by sets at Fvded in the Park, Beyond Wonderland PNW, Spring Awakening, EDC Orlando, Audiotistic and more.
