Whimsy Puts a Fresh Spin on Babe Club’s Infectious Anthem, ‘Need a GIrl’

South Carolina-based indie pop band Babe Club’s recent original release “Need A Girl” has been remixed by whimsy. The remix elevates the original song by adding fun and lighthearted elements of indie dance, while the lyrics reminisce on Jenna Desmond’s feelings being the only girl in a band.

whimsy is an American producer duo from Chicago entering the arena with a fresh, hybrid style influenced by everything from pop, indie, to electronic and hip-hop. whimsy is currently releasing dreamy remix after dreamy remix, combining distorted textures with glassy synths and heavy drums to flip the original tracks inside out. Their debut singles are set to release later this summer.

Released earlier this year, “Need A Girl” is a single off of Babe Club’s new five track EP, “Remember This Feeling.” Since their debut, the band has been on a steady trajectory to the top, as their craveable indie pop has won over fans and streaming platforms from the get-go.
