NGHTMRE returns with his latest single, “Speak Easy,” with help from electronic duos Alexandar Smash and Ghostlo. The song is released with Ultra Records, a departure from releasing on NGHTMRE’s own Gud Vibrations record label.
The three-way collab results in a melodic bass song that flows seamlessly from easy listening to bass-in-your-face at the appropriate times. The song opens gently, with angelic vocals and a repeating riff that carries throughout the entire song.
The first drop is a reserved, future bass segment that creeps into into the second verse. But the second drop holds nothing back, with a hard yet melodic dubstep drop that is a refreshing change of pace from the modern dubstep we most often hear today. 
The single is NGHTMRE’s third of 2021, following his March collaboration with KLAXX and a remix of Whethan’s “So Good.”
