Alfiya Glow Debuts on Enormous Tunes with Captivating Violin-Based Single “New Earth”

We don’t often get to explore the deeper side of house here at Your EDM, however, we’re happy to introduce you to Alfiya Glow, a Russian-born, L.A.-based DJ, producer, and violinist. Imagine Lindsey Stirling’s violin skills and Nora En Pure’s deep house vibes combined, and you’ll get Alfiya’s latest track “New Earth,” her debut single on Enormous Tunes.

The track opens with some stark piano notes and Alfiya playing her violin. It’s incredible instrumentation, yet very simple at the same time. After the intro, we get a club-ready progressive house drum beat. Despite the classical instrumentation, this is still a track that bangs. The violin melody continues to play and build in the background until you can’t ignore it anymore. We get another majestic violin breakdown from Alfiya before one last breakdown into the outro of the song. Here’s what Alfiya had to say about the inspiration behind “New Earth.”

“According to spiritual teachings ’NEW EARTH’ stands for heaven on Earth. This track has a very special place in my heart. It was created last year on Earth day – April 22, 2020, which I wasn’t even conscious of. It was a very difficult time for humanity, as we are all aware of – but I had a glimpse of what it would feel like once the dark times passed us by. What followed was in some sense an out of body experience for me, or what they call a cosmic download. I began to write and produce in a completely free flow, meditative state. And somewhere at the end of the trance I was in, I realized I was able to capture that exact vision into this track. From that experience, my hope is that listeners are able to touch and exist in that little piece of heaven with me. I now truly believe heaven can be a place on Earth. Through music.”

Check out the latest from Alfiya Glow, “New Earth” out now, and check out her Groove Cruise live set as well.
