R3HAB Drops Star-Studded Latin Collab “Pues” with Luis Fonsi and Sean Paul

R3HAB has been keeping listeners on their toes with what to expect from him so far in 2021. However, his latest single is without question the biggest track he’s dropped this year. R3HAB teams up with two titans of their respective genres, Luis Fonsi and Sean Paul, for “Pues,” a sultry Latin meets reggae track that’s sure to be a summer hit!

This isn’t R3HAB’s first foray into Latin music, see last year’s Besame (I Need You), but Luis Fonsi and Sean Paul are two of the most accomplished artists on the planet. Luis Fonsi has won multiple Latin Grammy Awards, and is of course, featured on one of the most ubiquitous songs of all time, 2017’s “Despacito.” If you’re like me, you probably remember Sean Paul best from his TRL-era hits “Get Busy” and “Temperature,” but this guy’s still getting the job done too. He’s won multiple Grammys for best reggae album and recently won a Grammy for his 2017 collab with Sia, “Cheap Thrills.”

The song starts with what sounds like a marimba playing in the background. Feel that nostalgia when you hear Sean Paul announce everyone on the track. A reggaeton beat comes in and you get those iconic Luis Fonsi vocals. After that Sean Paul gets a verse, and he sounds just like he did all those years ago. Luis Fonsi has another verse before we get into the chorus where Fonsi and Sean Paul go back and forth. I guess this is kind of the drop because the bass really kicks in here. Obviously, R3HAB’s subtle but thoughtful production wraps all these elements up into a nice tidy package.

Check out the latest from R3HAB, Luis Fonsi and Sean Paul, “Pues.” Out now on license to Universal Music.
