We always love hearing old classics reimagined. Whether it’s Stevie Wonder, Led Zeppelin, or even Elvis, we love hearing these classics flipped into dance floor hits. This is exactly why we’re so stoked to premiere this brand new track from Martial Simon, featuring his own take on the Deniece Williams/Footloose classic, “Let’s Hear It For The Boy“.
Previously known as DJ Martial, the New York-based artist has spent the last two decades performing across the country, and has been profiled in outlets like Page 6, Daily News, US Weekly, Wall Street Journal. He also ran SET Artist Management, where he booked more than 200 DJs across North America.
Martial Simon’s rendition of “Let’s Hear It For The Boy” sounds like an instant hit, something that can’t help but make you want to move and have a smile on your face. It keeps the flare of the original, adding in wonderful house elements that lifts this to be a big track that we can already imagine crowds of people singing along to.
