After bringing us singles like ‘Control’ and ‘Fading Light’ in the past few years, the Berlin based producer and artist LO is ready to reveal his second full-length project. Having already shared ‘Blu’ from the tracklist, he follows it up with the remainder of Night Owls’ ten tracks.
Able to seamlessly move between textures of lo-fi, subtle R&B and chilled electronic, LO uses this album to really hone his style. He explains: “Night Owls’ is my second full-length album. With the first written song of this body of work dating back to the beginning of 2018, it’s taken quite a long period of time to get to this point. I feel that the album’s quality in terms of songwriting and sound design really benefits from this. Written and worked on strictly after dawn, it shows a darker, more melancholic side of LO.“
Ebbing and flowing with ‘EVERYTHING WILL GET BETTER’ and ‘CLOSE TO YOU’ hitting the spot for us in particular, the whole LP is one to soak up.
