Bassline is everything in this brooding 3-track effort, which embraces the darkness while maintaining Capozzi’s playful style of bass house. Dark, but approachable, the DJ/producer continues to introduce her sound through a trifecta of fresh, new productions.
Caught somewhere between soulful and haunting lies “Give Love” featuring Pamela Hunt, followed up by a gritty West Coast party starter “Cali,” and finally, “Getcha” with Cave Studio, perfectly described as a deep club rattler. From the warehouse to the club, The Dark Side EP is both daring and versatile. 
Coming off her “Bright Lights” collaboration with Wenzday, Capozzi continues her hot streak of releases on Confession, Night Bass, Pinnacle Collective, AFTR:HRS and, of course, IN / ROTATION. With infectious energy and impeccable taste, Capozzi continues her imminent takeover as The Dark Side EP plays out in the background.
