David Guetta and MORTEN have reunited once again on “Save My Life” and joined by Norwegian singer-songwriter Lovespeake. Following the summer release of their collaborative New Rave EP, Guetta and Morten look to stoke the flames of “Future Rave” anthems while the oven’s hot.
On their Musical Freedom debut, David Guetta and MORTEN incorporate a blend of main stage attraction and underground grittiness. They bring pounding drums and synth-fueled melodies to create a mammoth house track. This time around, however, Lovespeake contributes with an impeccable vocal hook that ties dire emotion to the pulsating, big-room beat. It’s an ideal anthem for fans to hear the day music festivals and club shows become feasible worldwide again.
“Save My Life” takes the energy from the music and takes it higher with its music video. Director Balázs Simon, who has worked on music videos for Bronson as well as Hasse de Moore & GLD, drops a heart-racing video with a propensity for intensity. Shifting from his typical 3D-animated style to live action, Simon matches the track’s tension while adding unspoken drama and suspense. 
David Guetta was recently named the #1 DJ in the world in the annual Top 100 DJs list.
