Slowpalace‘s newly released Close To You / Stay Up EP is a mood like we’ve never heard before.
The first track, “Close To You” is a certified slow burner that makes a stunning first impression through its fresh change of pace. Next in rotation, “Stay Up” loads up on trap textures before erupting into an unexpected bass house drop more signature of the producer’s style. Within just moments we can recognize this EP is much different than what we’ve experienced from Slowpalace thus far and we’re instantly sucked into his newfound sound.
These tracks — “Close To You” and “Stay Up” — are standouts for the sheer fact that Slowpalace debuts his vocals for the first time ever. The lyrics melt like butter into the backdrop of the production, creating a beautiful, cohesive result we could definitely get used to hearing from the producer.
