KAYZO unleashes the second installment of his Halloween series with a monstrous edition — Little Comp of Horrors Volume 2.
Curated by KAYZO, the 17-track release really isn’t so little — it’s massive. Bass music’s heavyweights are behind the madness, including YehMe2, Bailo, Jayceeoh, Dirty Audio, ALRT, BRVMES, MOM N DAD, REVEL and so many more — established acts and up-and-comers alike.
YehMe2 kicks off the compilation with a creepy intro “PART 2” that signals our favorite comp of the season. From the devastating sounds of SYN & KOU‘s “RIOT,” which shouts out “NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE,” to the acid rave provided by BRVMES with “666,” each track is on point with severe darkness and impact.
Bailo provides one of the most earth-shaking productions, “Grody,” with a theatrical build and DNB influence, completed by dooming alarms and unfaltering, addictive trap flow. On the opposite end of the spectrum, a mega collab between REVEL, MONOLITH & SABROI, “RAVEGRAVE” provides much disruption and heavy metal type bass. We’re also obsessed with the contrast heard in JAYCEEOH & Purge‘s bold and heavenly collaboration “alive.” KRISCHVN caps it off with a high-energy house “PUSHNPULL” bass house/trap crossover. The variety heard here is top notch.

Little Comp of Horrors is special to me because it revolves around my favorite holiday, Halloween. More importantly, it gives me a chance to find new talent and offer current talent a home for new music of all tempos and genres that are helping push electronic music forward.
