Protohype is putting another artist into the limelight on his very own Underdog Records this week. Having only used it as a platform for his own music so far, the US talent has enlisted Connor Elder, aka Elderbass, to create something for the label. Elder bass certainly delivers with ‘Change Your Mind,’ a richly layered blend of drums that pepper the mix, a wandering bassline and vibrating hums of vocals.
The label head has said of the release: “Elderbass is the first artist that Underdog Records is supporting outside of the owner and founder, Protohype. We chose ‘Change Your Mind’ because we feel that it represents what Underdog stands for, both sonically and fundamentally. Ethereal melodies, beautiful lyrics, and high energy; along with sharing one of the many young artists we feel deserves a platform to be heard.”
