Colin McCue and Lee Napthine, better known as Canada’s Pigeon Hole, are here with a new EP for WAKAAN. In a slew of stellar releases comes the Bugs EP, which features four tracks from the duo. It’s a far cry from their hip-hop roots but a huge records that lends itself to Liquid Stranger’s label.
The gnarly ‘Skeleton’ is the opener here, before picking up the pace for the title track. Pigeon Hole reveal a little more about it, saying: “We wanted BUGS to have that evil empire vibe. Storm Troopers marching en masse. L-A-S-E-R-S. Wubs that scrunch faces like angry troll dolls.” Following this comes ‘Hackles’ and rounding off the EP is the stomping ‘Worldwide.’
