What could be better on New Music Friday than a whole new EP from American producer and DJ Borgeous? Teaming up with the brilliant Jared Watson, the duo shares Indica Eyes, a set spanning five tracks.
Bringing into play coolly woven melodies, slick trails of vocals and simmering basslines, the duo offers up something that highlights both individual and joint strengths. Borgeous took some time to reflect on it, saying: “Jared and myself decided to work again on a project after we worked on a track for my ‘Dear Me’ EP. I also did some remixes for the Dirty Heads, so that’s how we began our friendship. I love working with him: he’s humble, easy going and easy to work with. We ended up with 5 songs and decided to put together this collab EP.”
