Run The Jewels Drop ‘RTJ4’ A Couple Days Early To Help Fans Cope

In support of the ongoing Black Lives Matter movement, some artists have paused their album releases and music promo — but Run The Jewels just dropped their latest body of work, RTJ4, a couple of days early.

The duo has always used their platform to amplify the voices of minorities. As integral parts of the hip hop community, Killer Mike and El-P lead by example, serving as steadfast advocates for civil rights and consistently speaking out against racial injustice.

Upon the release of RTJ4, Killer Mike and El-P say:

Fuck it, why wait? The world is infested with bullshit so here’s something raw to listen to while you deal with it all. We hope it brings you some joy. Stay safe and hopeful out there and thank you for giving 2 friends the chance to be heard and do what they love.

No doubt, RTJ4 is going to get a lot of people through today. Listen here.
