Jay Hardway is back with another new tune; “Vibes” is super dance-y track that is a perfect blend of club elements with summer, ahem, vibes. The Dutchman once again shows his range as a producer combining elements of old school vocal house, piano house, and of course his usual production flairs throughout the track.
The track opens with piano notes set against the beat and percussion. The vocals come in layered against some light synth notes, definitely evoking old school dance vibes. As the vocal track continues we get some loopy synths that are trademark Jay Hardway. The piano melody that makes up the drop comes in and the drop is a rush of energy with it’s pounding low end and the piano notes just shimmering. If you close your eyes you can picture yourself in a packed club, however, you can still enjoy this one poolside just as well.
