We all know how amazing Jantsen and Mersiv are as producers, but together, they just created something truly out of this world.
Both producers are in the sort of Bassnectar-esque family of bass music, with wild filtered bass and a sort of wonkier tone — it’s hard to describe on paper, but it’s one of those things you know when you hear it. “Get Crazy” which has been an ID since at least December 2018, is out now on Wakaan. It’s full on wild bass with tones so sweet they’ll make your teeth rot and bass so dirty it’ll make your grandma call you and ask, “Sweetie, is everything okay?”
Following the first build, it gives you that satisfying kick drum and synth and just the briefest moment of silence before pushing you into the abyss. The drop sounds like falling down the rabbit hole, except all the visual stimuli are translated into sound — wind rushing past you, complete physical disorientation, anxiety about how far the hole goes… as sound. Wild, innit?
