PhaseOne – Transcendency (Remixes)

PhaseOne PhaseOne

One huge release that has hit us with a bang is PhaseOne’s TRANSCENDENCY (Remixes). With the original album getting a release in the summer of 2019, the 13-track release was packed with a huge diverse range of collaborators from Modestep, Northlane, Koven, Thy Art is Murder, We Are The Free to Bone Thugs-n-Harmony.

Yet again you can expect pure fire throughout, as a plethora of supremely talented artists step up to serve fresh versions of PhaseOne’s material. Starting the party is The Upbeat’s energetic remake of ‘MayDay,’ which pulls together snappy bass production and quick-stepping beats. Dirtyphonics take on ‘Break Em’ with menacing low-end precision, before Barely Alive put a sleek spin on ‘Ultima.’

Moore Kismet and BladKlaat both present a set of stirring edits for ‘Crash & Burn,’ leading neatly into the double take on ‘Insanity’ by Akeos and G-Rex, which is in your face from the opening drop. ‘Digital,’ which features Periphery alongside PhaseOne, takes a new direction thanks to TYNAN and his deep rolling basslines and fizzing creativity. The final tracks are given remixes from Phiso, Hydraulix, Midnight Tyrannasaurus and Oliverse.

In short, an auditory delight that any fan of the genre will appreciate and will not leave indifferent. Take a listen to PhaseOne’s TRANSCENDENCY (Remixes) LP below!
