We’re delighted to bring word of the debut EP from Iceland’s Áslaug, who is a seriously talented singer, songwriter and producer. Having made her first breakthrough last year with ‘Take From Me,’ she returns to the global stage with her self-titled collection of four tunes.
Citing the likes of HAIM and Lykke Li as inspirations, this project is about the message to “embrace yourself, stand up tall and always remember that the first person you should take care of is you.” That couldn’t be more apt in the current situation.
On the EP you will find the likes of punchy pop single ‘In My Head’ as well as the dreamy notes of ‘If You Will/Hollow’ and ‘I’m Sorry.’ We’re hoping to hear a lot more from Áslaug as we move through 2020 – make sure you stream this wonderful release here.
