Instagram is copying Snapchat again, now beginning testing on disappearing messages.
Demonstrated by Jane Wong (below), the messages wouldn’t be set to a timer like Snapchat, but would apparently enter a separate chat window purely for these types of correspondences.
Instagram replied to Wong, stating, “We’re always exploring new features to improve your messaging experience. This feature is still in early development and not testing externally just yet!”
No word yet on when, or if, this feature will be made public. So stay tuned for now!
