As social distancing becomes of paramount importance in the coming weeks due to COVID-19, multiple major Las Vegas properties have announced they will cease operations this week.
Wynn Resorts has announced it will close its Wynn Las Vegas and Encore properties beginning on Tuesday and continuing for two weeks. MGM Resorts will close its properties, announcing casino operations will close on Monday and properties will close on Tuesday.
Caesars Entertainment announced on their verified Twitter account that all live ticketed performance would be suspended beginning Sunday night. 
XS, Hakkasan, OMNIA, Wet Republic, and other Las Vegas clubs will be similarly affected during this time.
A national eight-week recommended self-isolation policy also puts EDC Las Vegas at risk in 9 weeks’ time. Insomniac CEO Pasquale Rotella recently went on Instagram Live to address concerns, stating that, at the time, EDC is still going on as planned. That was two days ago. He also laid out a series of contingencies should the festival be postponed.
