See The Music Festivals Cancelled Due to Coronavirus

Coronavirus covid-19 continue to ravage the entertainment and travel industries as governments around the world impose bans on public gatherings or shut borders to prevent the spread of the highly contagious virus.

Most music festivals and events said, right up until the very last moment, that they were continuing as scheduled and would continue to monitor the situation. This sort of last-minute news cycle for cancellations when people have spent hundreds if not thousands on travel and accommodation has left attendees and promoters weary and worried.

Below is a list of concert or festivals cancelled or postponed due to coronavirus.

• Miami’s Ultra Music Festival has been cancelled.
• France’s Tomorrowland Winter has been cancelled by the government.
• South By Southwest (SXSW) cancelled by city Of Austin
• Get Lost’s 24-hour Miami party, planned for March 21st, has been postponed.
• Winter Music Conference 2020 is cancelled
• Coachella postponed until October 2020; unclear what this means for next year’s festival dates
• Beyond Wonderland
• BUKU Music + Arts Project
• Story + LIV Nightclubs in Miami
• All Live Nation & AEG tours
• Relentless beats Rezz & Louis The Child headlining shows
• Exchange, Academy, and Sound nightclubs in Los Angeles
• Rampage Belgium
• Lane 8 weekend shows
• Elohim group therapy tour
• Select Ekali shows
• Noisia’s final shows

Festivals still urging they will go on.

• Buku in New Orleans and Movement in Detroit have issued statements they are moving ahead as scheduled. Rampage in Belgium offered a similar statement, but is now in danger of being cancelled due to a government event ban. No official cancellation has been announced as of 2:15pm PT, March 10.
• Hangout Fest is still going ahead as scheduled.
