Medasin Announces Sophomore Album ‘RIPPLS’

With a simple Instagram post, Medasin made waves yesterday. The prolific producer announced his sophomore project by posting the cover art with the minimal copy: “‘RIPPLS’ the album. 12 songs. January.”

The cover art for RIPPLS is otherworldly as it shows a space station blasting off into the unknown creating ripples through time and space as it passes. His debut project Irene was one of my favorite albums of 2018, and I continue to play out songs like “Home” and “Tired.”

It’ll be interesting to see how the producer has progressed from his singles like “At Fault” and “Always Afternoon” to construct a full bodied project. For me, January just can’t come quick enough.
