Seeing a release via RAM Records this week is the highly captivating official video that accompanies their massive ‘Take Me Home.’ Following on from their Zeds Dead collaboration earlier in the year, it’s the duo’s first visual release in two years – and throws this loved single back into the spotlight.
Otherwise known as Simon James and Ben Hall, Delta Heavy first met back in 2003 and have been making surging dance-floor beats for the last decade or so – crossing seamlessly through house, bass and of course D&B. Taken from their sophomore album Only In Dreams, ‘Take Me Home’ is filled with blaring trumpet-like notes combined with punching vocals that fall into an energetic and uplifting chorus, giving the release the capacity to appeal on the radio or within a live performance.
Created by Kun-I Chang and Shih-Wen Lin of Space Rabbit Studio, the video tells the story of two plush dolls living and falling in love inside an arcade claw machine. Matching the euphoric energy of the track, the attention to detail here is incredible as it moves towards a heart-warming climax.
