Seismic Dance Event has responded to alleged claims that the music festival was oversold and fans were locked out during the headliner.
On night one, the music festival’s social media exploded with comments and concerns from fans, including some who said they were forced to miss headliner Testpilot after being locked outside.
Seismic has a much different account, however, about how the night went down. 
Seismic Dance Event producers Andrew Parsons and Kelly Gray address concerns in an emailed statement to Your EDM:
While perception was that the event was oversold the reality was that we were following safety procedures set for by the fire marshal and our own internal public safety team. After the majority of guests made their way into the venue in an orderly fashion, in response to congestion within the venue, the on-site Fire Marshals and public safety personnel temporarily held doors, then counting guests into the venue in an organized manner to ensure the safety and comfort of those inside.
After approximately 45 minutes, shortly after Testpilot took the stage, this entry operation concluded, with all guests moving freely about the venue enjoying the remaining programming. While it is unfortunate some experienced a delay in entry, including those who used the exited the venue to use restrooms, no paying guests were denied the opportunity to enjoy the majority of the incredible Testpilot set.
Night two of Seismic Music Event reportedly went off without a hitch, as logistical challenges from night one were addressed prior to gates.
