The undoubtedly talented Matthew Schultz is back for more this week and has a new single just out. He originally started his music career as the guitarist in Chris Daughtry’s band, and since then has gone on to develop his songwriting, vocal and production skills.
This week’s release is a collaboration with Gyptian, and takes the smooth form of ‘Turn Me Up.’ It’s not the first time Schultz has worked with the reggae singer, and their ‘Promises For Keeps’ and ‘All Night Long’ have racked up millions of streams.
‘Turn Me Up’ is a languid listen with bags of charisma oozing through. Synth layers and dancehall-inspired percussion mean that this track grooves from the speakers with eye-catching appeal. Evoking endless Friday feelings, be sure to turn up this one on the stream below.
