A teenage girl died after working Louder Than Life music festival over the weekend.
According to 15-year-old Trinity Jackson’s mom, her daughter worked as a vendor at a BBQ company on site. Trinity, who suffered from asthma, was enjoying the festival on Saturday when she began having trouble breathing.
“I was carrying my daughter through the crowd while Guns N’ Roses was playing,” the mother, Brandi Moorman said. “I was just running as fast as I could to get through the crowd. I needed to get out (of) the gate. I needed help.”
Trinity was treated at the festival’s medical tent, but still had trouble breathing. She was transported to Norton Children’s Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
An official statement was given by a spokesperson from Louder Than Life’s production team:
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, whose privacy we wish to respect. We are cooperating with local agencies as they conduct an investigation related to a medical transport from the festival on Saturday night.”
An investigation is currently underway. No foul play is suspected.
