Illenium’s ‘Ascend’ tour has officially begun with last night’s show in Pittsburgh. Beyond all the new production, songs, and everything else, Illenium was hiding one more surprise in store — he’s playing guitar now, too!
Historically, he’s been accompanied by Said The Sky, Dabin, and Day during his live sets to provide the more real instrumental parts to the set. Now, Illenium is apparently joining Dabin on select guitar parts during the performance, only adding more to his impressive ability to do everything at once on stage.
The tour continues tonight in Rochester and tomorrow in Boston before returning to New York City for his exciting headline play at Madison Square Garden.
