Corrupt (UK) just hit us with a bumping new EP fueled by his signature grimy UK sound, out now via The Prescription Records. With this double release, the producer shapes two totally different but complimentary vibes through his unstoppable energy and expression.
First up, Keep Up hosts the title track “Keep Up” featuring Dread MC, priming the house-focused EP with much flair and precision. The song is light on its feet with perky synth work, but that bassline hits extra heavy. Expert vocals give the track a well rounded edge, and just like that Corrupt (UK) is taking over. Pro-tip: Cut some shapes to this ish.
Next up, “Not Coming Back” stays true to the UK grind as the lyrics request we leave it all on the dancefloor. This one drives it home with a tireless groove, gritty lead and an overall powerful message. The kick alone packs enough loop-worthy punch to provoke a repeat (or several). Pro-tip: Express yo-self!
Corrupt (UK) shares in a press release, “I am beyond hyped for this release on The Prescription Records and that Dr. Fresch & his team are supporting my take on the UK sound.”
And, the man Dr. Fresch puts it perfectly, “Corrupt (UK) is an unstoppable force on the dancefloor; his production is simply first class when it comes to serving basslines to the masses, and Keep Up typifies this.”
With it being Friday the 13th and all — get as weird as you want with these!
