The Avicii Tribute Concert for Mental Health Awareness was just officially announced this past Tuesday, with everyone from David Guetta, Kygo, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Laidback Luke and Nicky Romero to Aloe Blacc, Adam Lambert, Rita Ora and more set to perform in the legend’s memory.
The event went on sale this morning and, according to reports, sold out (55,000 tickets) in just 30 minutes.
Hardly a surprise, the Avicii concert is set to take place December 5th in the producer’s hometown of Stockholm, Sweden at Friends Arena.
“It’s overwhelming, difficult to take in,” Avicii’s father Klas Bergling said in a statement regarding the sell out. “I’m so grateful for all the people who want to share this special evening with us.”
