Martin Garrix has an exciting new release in the works, but then again — when doesn’t he?! Regardless, fans are especially excited for him to unleash his take on Lewis Capaldi‘s “Someone You Loved,” a beautiful new remix he has only dropped into his sets twice thus far.
The forthcoming remix is uplifting and euphoric, which you can hear play out in divine fashion via the video below. While the original song by Capaldi is delicate, using only a soft instrumental to back the emotional vocal performance, Garrix takes the idea to new heights. It’s a bold, transformative remix with epic main stage vibes.
This marks Garrix’s fist solo remix since he reworked The Weeknd‘s “Can’t Feel My Face” in 2015. Last year, he and Cesqeaux teamed up to remix “Ocean” by Khalid. With his official remixes few and far between, there was obviously something he heard in “Someone You Loved” that he simply couldn’t resist.
No word on a drop date yet, but we’re beyond ready for this one!
